A. Cutting

Non-porous crystallized glass panel has high hardness and density with texture, to avoid slab edge or border broken, you should take the following measures.

(a) Choose the equipment with sound mechanical performance, stable desktop saw cutter, please keep the cutting table flat , with brand diamond saw blade for micro-crystal porcelain, or marble， the saw with sharp edge. Ensure sufficient cooling water to prevent damage or explosive disruption to saw blade caused by overheat .always keep the saw blade forward in one way and draw it back after the slab have been removed to prevent accidental damages to the edge when returning.

(b) Handheld electric marble saw is hard to operated, cut a shallow slot first as a guiding slot for following cutting to ensure smooth cutting and avoid damages caused by swinging of the blade.

(c) Due to high wearing of the cutting edge, the blade should be edged timely to ensure the sharpness of the diamond cutting edge. Whichever. cutter you choose, excellent edging materials should be ensure .and common refractory fireclay block is recommended.

B. Border grinding and edge rounding

The slab shall be subject the machining of border grinding and edge rounding, for which glass straight border grinding machine may be used, during slab grinding, please note the grinding/cutting volume of each emery wheel shall not be over 0.5mm.Rein grinding wheel, or portable water grinder shall be used for edge/border polishing.

C. Hole drilling

(a) Water basin hole drilling: Handheld electric marble saw may be used , first, mark the outline of the hole , then operate gently in cutting and please cut with several come-and-goes and cooling water being used.

(b) Small holes drilling: Please choose the suitable size glass aiguille to install on the drilling machine ,then you can begin to drill, always ensure cooling water in the process of the drilling holes.

(c) For steel hanging slab edge groove forming : Fixing panel shall be used on the working table of hand turning edge cutter, and clamp the slab to be machined vertically, then well adjust working ,and add/reduce saw blades according to the width of the groove , the cutting of the depth according to your needs. Please note, cooling water must be used.
